If you’re anything like I was, you’ve probably found yourself standing in front of the mirror wondering…

“Why is all of my weight going to my belly now?”

You haven’t changed that much.

You’re eating less than you used to.

You’re trying to exercise.

Yet somehow, your waistline keeps expanding.

For years, I believed the old advice:

“Eat less. Exercise more.”

If it were really that simple, millions of midlife women wouldn’t be struggling with stubborn menopause belly fat.

As a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach and AFPA Certified Gut Health Nutritionist, I’ve learned that menopause changes the game. Hormones shift. Blood sugar becomes more important. Muscle naturally declines. Digestion slows. Cravings become stronger.

The good news?

You don’t need to spend hours in the gym or survive on salads.

The biggest transformation came when I simplified everything into three daily habits—and paired them with three targeted wellness supports.

This is the exact system I’ve now helped hundreds of women use.

My 3-Step Habit System

Habit #1: Eat in This Order

This one surprised me because it felt almost too simple.

Instead of focusing on counting calories, I changed the order that I ate my meals.

I now eat:

Protein → Fiber (vegetables or fruit) → Slow-burning carbohydrates (sweet potatoes, oats, brown rice, quinoa, etc.)

Eating protein first helps satisfy hunger.

Fiber slows digestion and supports healthy blood sugar.

By the time I get to my carbohydrates, I’m naturally fuller and eat less without feeling deprived.

It’s one of the easiest habits I’ve ever adopted.

Habit #2: Eat One Salad with Lean Protein Every Day

Notice I didn’t say only eat salad.

I simply committed to eating one large salad every day topped with lean protein like grilled chicken, shrimp, salmon, turkey, or tuna.

That single habit dramatically increased my vegetables, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and protein while crowding out many of the processed foods that had quietly crept into my routine.

Consistency beats perfection every time.

Habit #3: Walk 10–15 Minutes After Meals

You don’t need to train for a marathon.

A short walk after eating can make an enormous difference.

Walking after meals helps:

  • Support healthy blood sugar
  • Aid digestion
  • Reduce sluggishness after eating
  • Increase daily movement without intense workouts

Even when I recently attended a leadership conference, my friends and I made a point to get up and walk after meals.

Not because we had to.

Not because we were “burning off calories.”

Because it simply felt good—and it became part of our lifestyle.

Small walks truly add up.

My 3-Step Support System

Healthy habits are the foundation.

But during menopause, many women benefit from additional nutritional support.

These are the three supplements I personally use every day.

1. Gut Health Duo

Everything starts in the gut.

Supporting digestion, gut balance, and the gut lining can help reduce bloating while creating a healthier foundation for overall wellness.

Many women notice their stomach feels flatter before the scale even begins to move.

And take your measurements…you will see inches disappear faster than the pounds!

Find the Gut Health Duo HERE bundled with Balance.

2. Balance

I drink Balance before my two biggest meals each day.

It helps me:

  • Feel fuller sooner
  • Support healthy blood sugar
  • Reduce cravings
  • Prevent afternoon snacking

This has become one of the simplest habits I never skip.

Find Balance HERE bundled with the Gut Health Duo.

3. Gold

Gold combines ingredients like turmeric, apple cider vinegar, and cinnamon to help support the body’s healthy inflammatory response and metabolic wellness.

Think of it as another layer of support that complements the healthy habits you’re already building.

Find Gold HERE in both capsule and drink formulas.

Why This Worked When Everything Else Didn’t

For years, I chased the newest diet.

I counted calories.

I exercised harder.

I started over every Monday.

None of it addressed what was actually changing during menopause.

Once I focused on supporting my body instead of fighting it, everything became easier.

The constant hunger settled down.

The cravings became manageable.

My digestion improved.

My clothes fit better.

Most importantly, these habits became sustainable enough to stick with for years—not just weeks.

Start Here

If this feels overwhelming, don’t try to change everything at once.

Start with today’s dinner.

Eat your meal in this order:

Protein.

Then vegetables.

Then your carbohydrates.

Tomorrow, add a short walk after dinner.

Next, make sure you have one salad with lean protein sometime during the day.

Simple habits repeated consistently are far more powerful than extreme diets you’ll abandon next month.
