DISCLAIMER:

If you are a midlife women who is okay with showing your legs, this post is NOT for you. (I’m proud of you, though!)

Midlife Legs

I’ve heard from so many midlife women over the past couple of years who are not comfortable showing your legs anymore. And I get it. The skin on my legs is changing so I don’t wear shorts as much as I used to. So if you feel similar, here are three alternatives to shorts to cover your legs but keep you somewhat cool this summer. More to come!  Which option is YOUR favorite?

1. Round Skirt

2. Linen Pants

3. Knit Crops

1. Round Skirt

First, a round skirt. Round skirts, as opposed to pencil skirts or straight skirts, allow air to move and flow around your skin. This keeps you cool. Here, I have paired a white round skirt with a white sleeveless blouse, brown designer slide sandals, and a chic straw tote for a “European Summer Fashion” look. Shop this outfit here.

2. Linen Pants

The second option is linen pants. Linen is a lightweight, breathable fabric that covers your skin while still allowing some air to move…and heat from your skin to escape. Here I have paired neutral linen pants with a black sleeveless top and black slide heels for an effortless chic outfit. Shop this outfit here.

3. Knit Crops

The third option is the knit crop pants. These pants are like wearing pajamas. Seriously. Watch the video above to see how they move in action. Shop this outfit here.
