Day 3 in Nola – this jumpsuit DAZZLED at dinner. 💜⚜️☂️
🦞👟 We started the day with an hour-long walk up Canal Street and along the riverfront followed by a crawfish omelette. Exercise is a MUST after all the tasty meals I’ve eaten!
☂️⚜️💜🎶 From our balcony lunch seating, we were then treated to a Bourbon Street birthday celebration from above. So charming!
🇭🇹👟 From there, we took a “Voodoo Walking Tour”. It was totally NOT was I was expecting – it was more of an informative historical and cultural education walking seminar. But as my undergraduate degree is in History, I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the complicated history and culture of New Orleans. (For instance, I have some serious legal questions about Marie Laveau’s status as a widow. 🧐) Not gonna lie – I relished stopping in for a cold one at the Voodoo Lounge dive bar. 🖤🍻
🍽️🦀🥂Dinner was a Galaitore’s on Bourbon Street. My Crab Au Gratin and glass of Albariño were amazing…but the restaurant was incredibly noisy making it difficult to have a conversation. FYI for those of you (like me) who prefer quieter dining…
🎶🎷 The night ended perfectly with a FABULOUS jazz band and craft cocktails at Mahogany Jazz Bar. I secretly love jazz: I play coffee shop jazz in my office and took my husband to see a jazz trio on our first date. So good for my soul last night! 🎶⚜️💜🎷 I’ll be walking around singing “Sweet Georgia Brown” all day…
Today’s Agenda: Off to the Zurich Classic! ⛳️❤️
