To My Dearest Autumn Boots:

Have I told you lately how much I love you? I have shunned you and kept you under my bed for duration of Spring and Summer.  I hope that you don’t hold this against me but I just needed a change for a few months.  Alas, I have missed you.  And I am ready…once again…to be your girl.

How do I love you?  Let me count the ways:

I love you when you are thigh-high and knee-high as you make my legs appear longer and leaner as I prance through the falling Autumn leaves.

I love you when you are booties because you make MY BOOTY look perkier in my favorite denim jeans or sleek liquid leggings.

I love you when you are rubber and protect me from the rain and mud as I pick apples in the orchard.

I love you when you are furry and cozy, keeping my feet warmer than a blazing bonfire on a crisp Autumn evening.

Simply put, you complete me…well, you complete my look, I mean.
