I enjoy your videos and agree with almost everything you advise. I have a question on adding the third piece. I like to wear hats to church. Our church is very casual, but I’m 72 and i feel like i kind of need to dress up. I have become the “hat lady”. I invite strangers telling them to look for the hat. You would be surprised how many actually ask at the atrium doors for me. Hopefully, this makes them feel as though they are meeting a friend. This past Sunday I dressed in white monochrome. White jeans, fitted blouse, shoes and blazer. I also wore a white hat. I broke the rule. Blazer and hat. Do you think that is too much?
I have been the person who felt completely alone in a church full of people. If that hat helps you welcome newcomers into the fold, WEAR THE HAT!!! Doesn’t matter what you wear it with!
