Oh but you DO! Start with the blue button up and blue jeans from the April capsule wardrobe.
In the April Capsule Wardrobe, we created three outfits on camera from the blue button up shirt. While it’s usually a good idea to start with the items in the capsule wardrobe, you can expand upon the blue button up and blue jean combination with other items in your wardrobe. Here, I have paired the combination with a white linen blazer, mariner’s sweater, navy cardigan, and black blazer. But I’ve also used the button up itself as a sort of layer or jacket, styling a layering tank underneath. So get creative, mixing and matching the blue button up and blue jeans with items in YOUR closet!

I worked for Chico’s for 2 years (some 20ish years ago), wardrobing women for work and travel and leisure. I swear after watching your videos, I have never felt so disorganized in my closet (even though I still organize my closet by their hanging system!). It’s not so much my closet is disorganized as my choices of clothing seem rather random, though lots of things go together. And my shoe selections are even disinteresting. After being retired for a year and working from home the last 3, I am trying to define my style. I like your style, it is defined and classic. As an old banker and exec assistant, I have very similar tastes and your videos have help bring me back to that!
I love hearing this, especially from a fellow professional! The insight into your personal situation is very helpful for me when it comes to planning future outfits. I hear from lots of women in the midlife years that are transitioning out of the workforce, and either retiring or working from home. So this is helpful for me to hear!
