How to Wear Prints for Summer…without Looking Older

We have all heard it said that wearing prints ages you and makes you look even older than you already are. This is probably because the major retailers that cater to older women sell lots and lots and lots of prints. And it probably doesn’t help that Mrs. Roper always wore prints! But today I’m going to show you how to style prints without it making you look older.

As a general rule of thumb, wear one item that is a print and keep everything else neutral. So you can wear one Blouse, one Pants, or one Cardigan / Jacket…and then keep the rest of the outfit all white or all black. This allows the print to be the star of the show without overwhelming the outfit. You can shop these outfits with a link below each photo.
