Corporate to Casual Outfits

Corporate to Casual Outfits for Midlife Women. Today we are showing you how to maximize what’s already in your wardrobe and stretch your closet.

With budgets being a little tighter these days, going from corporate to casual is as simple as shedding your work blazer or sweater, swapping out your work shoes for sandals or casual shoes, and grabbing a smaller handbag or clutch.

This is an especially efficient way to think if you are traveling for work and trying to maximize your carry-on suitcase space.

To go from corporate to casual, I have simply shed the camel blazer and swapped out the work pumps for more smart casual 1 inch wedge sandals. I have also swapped my work tote for a cat hair cheetah clutch. The result is an outfit that is not only casual but still sophisticated. Shop this outfit here.
This black and tan top from Peppered with Leopard boutique is my current favorite. For a corporate outfit, I paired the top with a black tailored blazer, beige linen crop pants, black work pumps, and a designer work tote. But to take this look to casual within minutes, I took off the blazer and replaced the work pumps with some very chic 1 inch wedge heels. And no casual look is complete without oversize sunglasses! The result is a smart casual outfit with totally sophistication. Shop this outfit here.
For starters, this navy shirt dress is only $26… what woman in her right mind doesn’t love such a great deal?! For a corporate outfit, I paired the dress with a beige linen blazer (slightly oversized), a beige work tote, and neutral heels. But to take this outfit from corporate to casual within minutes, I took off the blazer and replaced the pumps with smart Sperry dock shoes and a white designer handbag. Shop this outfit here.
This satin camel short sleeve blouse is one of my current top sellers… and only $22. For a corporate outfit, I pair the satin blouse with an oversize ivory sweater blazer, high waisted ivory linen trousers, and nude pumps. But to take the outfit to casual within minutes, I removed the sweater blazer and swapped out the pumps for 1 inch wedge sandals. The result is a smart casual look that is sophisticated and chic. For a slight change of pace, I took this outfit from corporate to casual simply by swapping out the pants. For a corporate outfit, I paired this beautiful baby pink blazer with a column look underneath: white blouse and white pants. But to convert the look to a casual outfit, I swapped out the white crop pants in favor of modern ankle jeans and Sperry dock shoes. Sophisticated chic! Shop this outfit here.
