Do you workout? If so, what sort of exercise do you do?
I know it probably sounds like this caption has nothing to do with the photo, but exercise is a priority for me because I want to look good – and FEEL good – in outfits like this one. And women in midlife and beyond will tell you that all those old diet tricks and quick fixes that worked in our younger years have ZERO effect once you reach 40…can I get an AMEN?! 🙋🏼♀️
As for me, I workout with weights six days a week and do walking workouts SEVEN days a week. The walking workouts are light cardio with easy to follow movements…and I thoroughly enjoy the music! As for weight training, I did ballet barre workout for years and was a big fan, but I got to a point where my body no longer responded. So I’m switching things up right now and doing good old fashion dumbbell home workouts on YouTube. Currently, I am enjoying Caroline Girvan…primarily because she doesn’t talk during the workouts – lol!
Now I want to hear from YOU! Maybe you have a solid fitness plan that is working for you. Maybe the fatigue associated with menopause is zapping your energy and keeping you from exercising. Or maybe you want to workout but don’t know where to start. I WANT TO HEAR FROM ALL OF OUR COMMUNITY ON THIS!
